Tony was very professional and punctual when meeting me to and looking at my roof to prepare an estimate. I was very happy with his thoroughness and the quality of the bid. He inspected my roof and even took detailed photos to share with me. For other reasons, I selected a different contractor for my roof project, but based on my initial impressions, by text communication, email communication, personal interaction, impression of quality and professionalism, and detail and pricing of the bid, I would recommend Tony to others looking for either a roof repair or roof replacement.
Pretty much everything about working with AAK was great. Tony responded to all questions quickly and completely. They were flexible with allowing us to choose shingle brand, skylight options, etc.
During the project, they worked as long as there was daylight (shortened this time of year) and everyday the whole area was left clean as if they hadn't been there.
I got many estimates for our re-roof, and these guys were the lowest of the estimates. We decided to drop the nonsense people tell you about "ignore the lowest and highest estimates", and I'm so glad we did. We're left with a great-looking, clean and warranted roof, and feel like we got a fair price as well.
Tony was so incredibly helpful and trustworthy with our roofing job, he completed it incredibly fast and was very punctual and reliable... and it looks amazing! He kept me in the loop as far as where the job was every day. I have already recommended him to several friends needing roofing jobs.
AAK Roofing is awesome. Call them, hire them, everything about them was just plain great. There were problems (not their fault), but AAK took care of things, no matter what. I actually found myself missing having the guys around when they left. Personable, good senses of humor and, as far as I know (the sun is shining, after all), they do great work. Two criticisms: They need to up their prices a little bit. Value was beyond belief, but they could charge a little more and still be beyond competitiveness. Two: they need to use sunscreen. I know, I know, but still. The work they do is dangerous in more ways than one. One of those is the harm the sun can do now a days. Other than that: hire them, call them. They are good guys.
